of trust that exists between Words That Shook The World/National
High School Public Speaking Competition and all of our users,
whether they be students, parents, schools, nonprofit organizations,
volunteers, donors, readers of our newsletters or other visitors

How We Use Information
The only time Words That Shook The World will ask for your personal
information is when signing up for one of our mailing lists
or enrolling you in one of our programs. We use return email
addresses to answer the email we receive. Please be aware that,
to the extent required to provide our services, we share your
information with volunteers, nonprofit organizations, or our
Partners, as applicable.
For Newsletter Subscribers
We may use our email lists for sending out our newsletter and
other Words That Shook The World outbound communications. We
do not, however, sell, rent or trade our general newsletter
email addresses to outside parties.
For Volunteers
To the extent that you have provided any Information to us through
our Web site or the Web site of one of our Partners regarding
volunteer opportunities associated with one of our Partners,
we may share your Information with the applicable Partner. Each
of our Partners has its own policies regarding the collection
and use of personal information, and Words That Shook The World
is not responsible for their use of your Information.
For Donors
Donor information is kept completely confidential. We will not
share any information on donations made through the Words That
Shook The World website with any third parties or Partners.

are used for the secure sections of our site including the volunteer

In the unlikely event that Words That Shook The World undergoes

in the further unlikely event that Words That Shook The World
is adjudicated bankrupt or insolvent (a) there will be no further
use or disclosure of your personally identifiable Information
by Words That Shook The World and (b) your personally identifiable
Information will be destroyed. In addition, there will be no
use or disclosure of your personally identifiable Information
by any entity that acquires assets of Words That Shook The World
pursuant to such bankruptcy or insolvency proceedings.
If you are a volunteer, donor or partner and would like to have
your Information deleted from the site, you may do so by contacting

Opting-Out of Communications
Individuals who receive Words That Shook The World communications
do so on an opt-in basis. All communications are optional and
allow the nonprofit organization, volunteer, subscriber or other
user to unsubscribe from the newsletter. In every email we send,
we provide instructions regarding how to opt-out of receiving
future mailings. Users may remove their Information from our
database so as not to receive our service or future communications
by sending an email to our newsletter team at info@wordsthatshooktheworld.com.
Our Commitment to Data Security
To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and
ensure the correct use of Information, we have put in place
appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures
to safeguard and secure the Information we collect online.

Words That Shook The World may change this privacy policy from
time to time. Words That Shook The World will notify you of

That Shook The World start-up screen. If you object to any such

That Shook The World Web site. Continued use of the Words That

Charitable Organization
The National High School Public Speaking Competition, Inc. is
a not-for-profit tax-exempt organization recognized under section
501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and has been designated
as a "public charity" under section 170(b)(1)(A)(VI)
and 509(a)(1) of the Code. The National High School Public Speaking
Competition, Inc. is a California not-for-profit organization
whose mission is to seek out, cultivate and recognize outstanding
high school orators.
