How to Choose a Topic

We purposely chose a theme for this competition that would allow you unlimited freedom. We want YOU to be the one to chose, not us! So, it's really simple, choose a topic that is YOUR passion.

Here are a few questions you can ask yourself to help you find that topic.

1. If I were King of the World and I could change the world any way I wanted, what would I do?
Well, if lots of people get to see and hear your speech, maybe your speech, and your idea WILL change the world!

2. What REALLY bugs me?
Gotta be something.

3. What REALLY fascinates me?
Is it science? Then choose a topic in the world of science.
Is it animals? Then choose a topic that deals with animals.
Is it politics? Then choose a topic that deals with politics

4. Who do I admire? Why?
Is it Oprah, Michael Jordan, Albert Einstein, Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela, Beyonce, your own mom or dad or a teacher at your school? Doesn't matter who. If you admire someone there's probably a pretty good reason for it. Find that reason and it will give you a clue as to what is important to you.

5. What do people need to know that they might not know?
Have you studied things or know things that most people don't? Would it be important for people to know what you know?

Again, this is YOUR "Message For America". Use it wisely!!
